The College Board of Directors apologizes to the students, parents, and college employees for the state of affairs since April 15, 2023, without presenting a vision that would allow dealing with the development of events. This, as is known to everyone, is due to the tragic situation that prevailed in Khartoum State and the massive displacement outside the state due to the ongoing war. From that date until today, there is no possibility of reaching the main headquarters, which is located in the middle of the clash’s sites, and access to it is considered impossible. But despite all that, we continued to work hard, and we are still working under difficult and extremely complex circumstances to address the situation in an effort to continue the students’ educational journey.

Therefore, the College Council held a meeting late last year on December 7, 2023 AD, in which the examination results for the final (graduates) and transferring semesters were approved, and also discussed how to continue the academic program. Following that meeting, arrangements were made to resume studying online. But that effort failed due to the civil events at the end of last year and the subsequent comprehensive collapse of security and a new displacement movement.

Despite this, the efforts continued, and recently, on June 1, 2024, the Dean of the College held a meeting with the heads of the academic and administrative departments and the Secretariat of Scientific Affairs to discuss proposals and plans for resuming studies. The meeting decided to adopt July 13, 2024, as the date for the start of online studies. Work is now underway to put the final touches to the study program, which will enable the academic staff, professors and administrators, to perform their duties and carry out their work online according to a coordinated scientific vision that coexists with reality and gives students the ability to continue their academic achievements normally by taking advantage of the applications available online.

Beside this, and in order to give the student community and their families the opportunity to share their opinions and exchange the necessary information that contributes to improving work, a questionnaire for students will soon be published on the college’s website. Students and parents will also be informed of all details and any other developments via the website and the college’s Facebook page. The College Council will continue to strive with all available efforts to provide a stable environment that achieves what is required in light of this difficult reality. With patience and steadfastness, all difficulties and pain will be overcome and we will emerge from this affliction with the help of Allah Almighty, moving towards achieving the college’s motto, which is “Building the Future”. We ask God Almighty to preserve the country and improve the condition of the servants, and to restore security, safety and stability. Success is only in Allah.

يتقدم مجلس إدارة الكلية بالاعتذار للطلاب وأولياء الأمور ومنسوبي الكلية لما وصلت اليه الأحوال منذ 15 أبريل 2023م دون تقديم تصور يسمح بالتعامل مع تطور الأحداث. وذلك كما هو معلوم للكافة يعود للوضع المأساوي الذي ساد ولاية الخرطوم والنزوح الكثيف خارج الولاية بسبب الحرب الدائرة. ومنذ ذلك التاريخ وحتى تاريخ هذا اليوم ليس هنالك أي إمكانية للوصول إلى المقر الرئيسي والذي يقع وسط مواقع الاشتباكات، والوصول إليه يعد أمراً مستحيلاً. لكننا رغم كل ذلك ظللنا نعمل جاهدين ولا نزال في ظل ظروف صعبة وبالغة التعقيد لمعالجة الوضع سعياً لمواصلة الطلاب مشوارهم التعليمي.

ومع كل ذلك عقد مجلس الكلية اجتماعاً أواخر العام الماضي بتاريخ 7 / 12/ 2023م تمت فيه إجازة نتائج الامتحانات للفصول النهائية (الخريجين) والمنتقلة، وكذلك تمت مناقشة كيفية مواصلة البرنامج الأكاديمي. وعلى إثر ذلك الاجتماع أجريت ترتيبات لمعاودة الدراسة عبر الإنترنت. ولكن فشل ذلك المسعى بسبب أحداث مدني نهاية العام الماضي وما جرى بعدها من أحداث من انهيار شامل للأمن وحركة نزوح جديدة.

ورغم ذلك ظلت المساعي مستمرة ومؤخراً في 1/ 6/ 2024م عقد عميد الكلية اجتماعاً مع رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية والإدارية وأمانة الشئون العلمية لمناقشة مقترحات وخطط استئناف الدراسة. وقد قرر الاجتماع اعتماد تاريخ 13 يوليو 2024م موعداً لبدء الدراسة عبر الإنترنت (Online). ويتم العمل الآن على وضع اللمسات الأخيرة للبرنامج الدراسي والذي سيمكن الطاقم الأكاديمي أساتذة وإداريين من تأدية واجبهم وممارسة أعمالهم عبر الإنترنت وفق رؤية علمية منسقة تعايش الواقع وتعطي الطلاب القدرة على مواصلة تحصيلهم الأكاديمي بشكل اعتيادي بالاستفادة من التطبيقات المتوفرة عبر الإنترنت.

ومن أجل مشاركة مجتمع الطلاب وذويهم الآراء وتبادل المعلومات الضرورية التي تسهم في تجويد العمل سيتم قريباً نشر استبيان للطلاب وذلك في موقع الكلية. كما سيتم تمليك الطلاب وأولياء الأمور تباعاً بكافة التفاصيل وأي مستجدات أخرى عبر الموقع وصفحة الكلية على الفيسبوك.

سيظل مجلس الكلية ساعياً بكل ما هو متاح من بذل وجهد لتوفير بيئة مستقرة تحقق المطلوب في ظل هذا الواقع الصعب. وبالصبر والصمود سيتم تجاوز كل الصعاب والآلام والخروج من هذا البلاء بعون الله تعالى ماضين نحو تحقيق شعار الكلية وهو بناء المستقبل. سائلين المولى عز وجل أن يحفظ البلاد ويصلح حال العباد وأن يعود الأمن والأمان والاستقرار وما التوفيق إلا بالله.
