Announcement of the resumption of studies for civil engineering students and payment of the first installment

Students at City College of Science and Technology

Dear parents

Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.

Following the previous announcement regarding the resumption of studies electronically for civil engineering students, I convey to you the following clarification:

1. Studies begin on the first day of January 2025.

2. Tuition fees have been amended to nine hundred and sixty thousand Sudanese pounds (960,000 Sudanese pounds) for the entire year for students of the Civil Engineering Department, to be paid in 4 installments. This will be followed by other departments after conducting a similar study.

3. Installments are paid according to the following schedule:

1 First installment (35%) SDG 336,000 12/5/2024 Last date to pay the first installment is 12/19/2024.

2 Second installment (20%) SDG 192,000 2/1/2025 Last date to pay the second installment is 2/15/2025

3 Third installment (25%) SDG 240,000 3/20/2025 Last date to pay the second installment is 4/5/2025

4 Fourth and final installment (20%) SDG 192,000 5/10/2025 Last date to pay the second installment is 5/20/2025

4. Payment is made electronically and the required documents are uploaded via the link Next:

5. The tuition fees set above are to cover the teaching hours of faculty members without any increase or other administrative items (as professors are burdened with additional effort due to teaching via the Internet). The cooperating college professors have kindly agreed to the reduction initiative in response to your appeal.

6. This measure in tuition fees is to address the resumption of electronic study during the war period and to take advantage of the time currently available to advance in academic years. When we recover in our beloved country, tuition fees will return to what they were in accordance with the regulations and laws governing higher education in Sudan.

7. Students who will not be able to join the e-study will still have their full rights reserved at the college, and when the situation returns to normal, they can continue their studies at the college from where they left off with all the rights they acquired at the college since joining it.

9. Note: The administration is fully prepared to continue the study for the remaining departments whenever they submit a similar request to the administration.

الأبناء الطلاب بكلية سيتي للعلوم والتكنولوجيا

السادة أولياء الأمور الكرام

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته

الحاقا للإعلان السابق بخصوص استئناف الدراسة إلكترونيا لطلاب الهندسة المدنية انقل لكم التوضيح التالي:

  1. تبدأ الدراسة في اليوم الأول من يناير 2025م.
  2. تم تعديل الرسوم الدراسية الي تسعمائة وستون ألف جنيه (960,000 جنيه) سوداني لكامل السنة لطلاب قسم الهندسة المدنية على ان تدفع على 4 أقساط. هذا وسوف تتبعها الاقسام الأخرى بعد القيام بدراسة مماثلة.
  3. يتم سداد الأقساط حسب الترتيب التالي:
    • القسط الاول (35%) مبلغ 336,000 جنيه، يتم السداد يوم 5/12/2024م، آخر موعد لسداد القسط الاول بتاريخ  19/12/2024م.
    • القسط الثاني (20%) مبلغ 192,000 جنيه، يتم السداد يوم 1/2/2025م، آخر موعد لسداد القسط الثاني بتاريخ 15/2/2025م.
    • القسط الثالث (25%) مبلغ 240,000 جنيه، يتم السداد يوم 20/3/2025م، آخر موعد لسداد القسط الثاني بتاريخ 5/4/2025م
    • القسط الرابع والأخير (20%) 192,000 جنيه، يتم السداد يوم 10/5/2025م، آخر موعد لسداد القسط الثاني بتاريخ 20/5/2025م.
  4. يتم السداد إلكترونياً ورفع المستندات المطلوبة عبر الرابط التالي:

  5. الرسوم الدراسية المقررة أعلاه هي لمقابلة أجور ساعات التدريس لأعضاء هيئة التدريس دون أي زيادة أو تحميلها بنود إدارية أخرى (حيث أن الأساتذة يقع على عاتقهم مجهود اضافي جراء التدريس من خلال الانترنت). وقد وافق أساتذة الكلية المتعاونين مشكورين بمبادرة التخفيض تجاوباً مع مناشدتكم.
  6. هذا الإجراء في الرسوم الدراسية هو لمعالجة استئناف الدراسة الإلكترونية أثناء فترة الحرب والاستفادة من الزمن المتاح حالياً في التقدم في السنوات الدراسية. وعندما نسترد العافية في وطننا الحبيب ستعود الرسوم الدراسية لما كانت عليه وفق ما تقضي اللوائح والقوانين المنظمة للتعليم العالي بالسودان.
  7. الطلاب الذين لن يتمكنوا من الالتحاق بالدراسة الإلكترونية تظل حقوقهم محفوظة كاملة بالكلية، ومتى عادت الأوضاع لطبيعتها يمكنهم مواصلة دراستهم بالكلية من حيث توقفوا بكل حقوقهم التي اكتسبوها بالكلية منذ التحاقهم بها.
