Dear Students at City College of Science and Technology

Dear parents

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

With reference to the Basic Law for Private and Foreign Education, Article 12-H, which pertains to the approval of the Dean of the College on behalf of the Scientific Council and the Board of Trustees to resume studies for various specializations. In order for the College to continue to achieve its pioneering and educational role in dealing with the appeals of students and their families, I convey to you my approval on behalf of the Scientific Council to resume studies in the Department of Civil Engineering according to the following guidelines:

1. First, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to you for your generous initiative in addressing the Dean of the College for the second time and the expression by many of the students in the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Architecture of their desire to continue studying online and their communication with the administration and their request to make a second discount on tuition fees. This necessitated our response to your appeal and reduce tuition fees for the second time for the e-learning stage.

2. The fees after the second reduction for civil engineering students for the entire year will be 960,000 pounds (nine hundred and sixty thousand Sudanese pounds only) to be paid in 4 installments. This will be followed by other departments after conducting a similar study.

3. The first installment shall be paid within three weeks from the date of this announcement, no later than December 15, 2024, and the second installment shall be paid two months after the date of resumption of studies in the first semester, and the third installment shall be paid at the beginning of the second semester and before the start of studies, and the fourth installment shall be paid before the start of exams.

4. The tuition fees set above are to cover the teaching hours of faculty teaching members, without any increase or any other administrative items (as professors are burdened with additional effort due to teaching via the Internet). The cooperating college professors have kindly agreed to the reduction initiative in response to your appeal. You know that they are experiencing the same critical economic situation that Sudanese families are experiencing in light of this damned war.

5. This procedure in tuition fees is to address the resumption of e-learning during the war period and to take advantage of the time currently available to advance in academic years. When we recover in our beloved country, tuition fees will return to what they were in accordance with the regulations and laws governing higher education in Sudan.

6. Students who will not be able to join e-learning will still have their rights fully reserved at the college, and when the situation returns to normal, they can continue their studies at the college from where they left off with all the rights they acquired at the college since joining it.

7. The college administration has continued to support teaching expenses and the cost of government fees from its own resources, but the war has destroyed everything. As you know, this system has currently been disrupted due to the known circumstances that have befallen the country. Which necessitated taking this step before you.

Note: The administration is fully prepared to continue studying for the remaining departments whenever students submit a similar request to the administration.

إعلان عن استئناف الدراسة على مراحل وتخفيض في الرسوم الدراسية

الأبناء الطلاب بكلية سيتي للعلوم والتكنولوجيا

السادة أولياء الأمور الكرام

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته:

إشارةً إلى النظام الأساسي للتعليم الاهلي والأجنبي المادة ١٢- هـ والخاص بموافقة عميد الكلية نيابة عن المجلس العلمي ومجلس الامناء باستئناف الدراسة للتخصصات المختلفة. وامعاناً من الكلية في تحقيق الدور الريادي والتربوي في التعامل مع مناشدات الطلاب وأسرهم، انقل لكم موافقتي نيابة عن المجلس العلمي على استئناف الدراسة في قسم الهندسة المدنية وفق الموجهات التالية:

1. في البدء يطيب لي أن أتقدم لكم بخالص الشكر والتقدير على مبادرتكم الكريمة في مخاطبة عميد الكلية للمرة الثانية وابداء عدد كبير من طلاب قسم الهندسة المدنية وقسم المعمار رغبتهم في مواصلة الدراسة عبر الإنترنت وتواصلهم مع الادارة وطلبهم بعمل خصم ثاني للرسوم الدراسية. مما استوجب علينا الاستجابة لمناشدتكم وتخفيض الرسوم الدراسية للمرة الثانية لمرحلة التعليم الإلكتروني.
2. تصبح الرسوم بعد التخفيض الثاني لطلاب الهندسة المدنية لكامل السنة 960,000 جنيه (فقط تسعمائة وستون ألف جنيه سوداني) على أن تدفع على 4 أقساط. هذا وسوف تتبعها الاقسام الأخرى بعد القيام بعمل دراسة مماثلة.
3. يتم سداد القسط الأول خلال ثلاثة أسابيع من تاريخ هذا الاعلان كحد أقصي في يوم 15 ديسمبر 2024م، وسداد القسط الثاني بعد شهرين من تاريخ استئناف الدراسة في السمستر الأول، وسداد القسط الثالث عند بداية السمستر الثاني وقبل البدء في الدراسة، وسداد القسط الرابع قبل بداية الامتحانات.
4. الرسوم الدراسية المقررة أعلاه هي لمقابلة أجور ساعات التدريس لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، دون أي زيادة أو تحميلها أي بنود إدارية أخرى (حيث أن الأساتذة يقع على عاتقهم مجهود اضافي جراء التدريس من خلال الانترنت). وقد وافق أساتذة الكلية المتعاونين مشكورين بمبادرة التخفيض تجاوباً مع مناشدتكم. وأنتم تعلمون أنهم يعيشون نفس الوضع الاقتصادي الحرج الذي تمر به الأسر السودانية في ظل هذه الحرب اللعينة.
5. هذا الإجراء في الرسوم الدراسية هو لمعالجة استئناف الدراسة الإلكترونية أثناء فترة الحرب والاستفادة من الزمن المتاح حالياً من أجل التقدم في السنوات الدراسية. وعندما نسترد العافية في وطننا الحبيب ستعود الرسوم الدراسية لما كانت عليه وفق ما تقضي اللوائح والقوانين المنظمة للتعليم العالي بالسودان.
6. الطلاب الذين لن يتمكنوا من الالتحاق بالدراسة الإلكترونية تظل حقوقهم محفوظة كاملة بالكلية، ومتى عادت الأوضاع لطبيعتها يمكنهم مواصلة دراستهم بالكلية من حيث توقفوا بكل حقوقهم التي اكتسبوها بالكلية منذ التحاقهم بها.
7. ظلت إدارة الكلية تدعم نفقات التدريس وتكلفة الرسوم الحكومية من مواردها الخاصة، ولكن الحرب قضت على الأخضر واليابس. وكما تعلمون إن هذا النظام في الوقت الحالي قد تعطل للظروف المعلومة التي حلت بالبلاد. مما استوجب القيام بهذه الخطوة التي أمامكم.

ملحوظة: الادارة على أتم الاستعداد لمواصلة الدراسة للأقسام المتبقية متي ما تقدم الطلاب  للإدارة بطلب مماثل.
